The Cup & Saucer Cafe is an Old School Portland, woman owned, Southeast staple. After owning a coffee cart at Portland State University, Karen Harding opened up shop on SE Hawthorne in 1988, making fluffy homemade pancakes and calling her mom to learn how to make all the variations of eggs. As a neighborhood gathering space and we’ve been thrilled to get to know so many amazing regulars.
