“The Gates Hotel is well located in South Beach, close to the trolley stops and bus stops, close to Lincoln Road and grocery stores. The staff were super polite and friendly. When we couldn't be moved to a room with a balcony, we were given coupons for breakfast for the 5 days that we stayed. Nice treat. The hotel is next door to Avis car rental. We rented a car for one day to travel to Fort Lauderdale to visit friends. The concierge guided us on the hiring of uber to take us to Port Everglades. We especially enjoyed the warm chocolate chip cookies given out every day. Beach was only a couple of blocks away.”
