Established in 2015, Dorothy’s bar is centred in the heart of Chinatown, Singapore. The location itself is highlighted as a heritage site.
It is also known to be the oldest location as a gay bar with over 20 years of history. If the walls could talk, the stories it would tell. The name Dorothy’s is derived from the old slang used in the 1940s “Are you a Friend of Dorothy”.
The atmosphere of having a home away from home is pride by Dorothy’s, additionally powered by the almighty mixologist “the WIZARD of OZ” Jimmy, creating iconic beverages and cocktails only found at Dorothy’s Bar. The outdoor balcony overlooking Trengganu and temple streets, a touristic location, makes it a good place to extract yourself and relax while absorbing in the sights.
