Tirant hotel has been in operation since the beginning of 2011. The hotel is located at Gia Ngu street which in Vietnamese means Fish Village, that is where fisherman and their family resided. In 1800s, the pond in the middle of the area was occluded, opening up a long new road which went through many different names before its current title of being Gia Ngu. This street was used to be named Tirant (pronounced as “ Tai-rang”) which was the name of a French general officer back in the colonial time. We want to keep our hotel name as easy to remember and as unique as possible, that is why this piece of history was chosen for the hotel name: TIRANT HOTEL
Situated in the heart of Hanoi’s finest cultural landmark, the Old Quarter – the nest of all the historical legends and the well-reserved area, Tirant hotel is a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.
To start off, we can offer you the best location: in the hub of restaurants and entertainings center and only two- minutes walk to many favorite spots (Hoan Kiem lake, Water Puppet theater, Tourist corner, etc.). Where else would you want to be if not in the center of all the actions, just out of the hotel door? Even though we are in the center, we can still ensure the most leisure stay for you, thanks to the slow pace of traffic and the logistic convenience of the hotel’s street location.

The Tirant hotel offers 80 rooms of 5 different room-styles to accommodate the needs of any business and leisure travelers: 9 Classic rooms, 22 Deluxe rooms, 22 Premium Deluxe rooms, 18 Executive Suite rooms, 9 Grand Suite rooms.
Our Classic & Deluxe Rooms are lavishly styled with glass enclosed showers, 12 ft ceilings, 32 in HD LCD televisions and an abundance of other amenities.
Besides the amenities offered in the Classic and Deluxe rooms, our Executive Suite features a panoramic view of the Old Quarter, especially Hoan Kiem Lake.
Our Grand Suite Room offers 450 SQ ft of living space, 55 in HD LCD television, overlooking the Hoan Kiem Lake. The room is also equipped with spacious and modern bathroom which has shower or bathtub or jacuzzi; Grand Suite is truly aimed at indulging your travel every need.

“Perfect hospitality and deluxe accommodation, in a fascinating location. Western hotels could learn a lot from the Tirant team. Airport transfers worked perfectly, as did other taxi services via reception. Withdrawing cash, by debit card, from reception was smooth, reliable and not expensive. Great breakfast selection, with omelette chef etc; Rooftop bar is fantastic place to unwind from the busy city.”
