Our founder Carl Hilmar Guenther’s family home, better known as The Guenther House; opened up to the public in 1988 as a Restaurant, Museum, Banquet Facility and Gift Shop. The Guenther House is a showplace of the traditions and history of C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. We serve an all American breakfast using our Pioneer products and our exclusive San Antonio River Mill brand in our restaurant. We carry a large line of kitchen products in our gift shop. We also cater events in our facility and on the surrounding grounds.
We present long time requested products, practices, and principles upon which C.H. Guenther founded and ran his company since 1851. Fast forward nearly 30 years worth of stacks of Pancakes and Biscuits topped with Gravy, The Guenther House now serves over 200,000+ guests every year while maintaining our promised value of the best possible services and products. We also offer our signature products & services to our customers who visit The Guenther House daily, order our products to be shipped across the United States or host an elegant event in our facility and surrounding grounds.
