Flicks is one of the original video bars in the United States, but we are more than just a video bar, gay bar, or sports bar. At Flicks, we try to be one of the best gay bars in Hillcrest, San Diego to meet people of all ages and backgrounds, make new friends, play pool, share common interests, and just…well…hang out, have a drink, and have fun!
Flicks has been in business over 33 years, and is located right in the heart of the Hillcrest (San Diego’s gay district) on University Avenue between 10th Street and Vermont St.
Stop in on Well-Fare Wednesday for cheap drinks, Thursday is Club Flicker, and Friday and Saturday nights we are the go-to gay bar for cheap, strong drinks. Karaoke is on the menu on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights.
