The Buttery is all about real food made by hand using traditional methods and all-natural ingredients. Our South End café greets customers with bold flavors and a warm, welcoming environment. The Buttery is filled with restored original tin ceiling tiles, white carrara marble counters and whimsical photos of neighborhood rescue dogs and cats! Homemade breakfast sandwiches and pastries, cupcakes, soups and signature chillis, sandwiches and salads are served daily. We serve Equator Coffee and Teas’ ethically sourced award-winning drip coffee and espresso, freshly roasted for us twice weekly in San Rafael, California. We also offer fine teas from Chicago’s Intelligentsia Kilogram Tea. Our menus change seasonally using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
