The ship sailed until 2000 when she was restored and fitted out as a floating hotel and museum, now permanently moored in Rotterdam.

The SS Rotterdam is moored on the River Maas on the opposite side to the city. A free shuttle service is provided to the metro stop. Water taxi, tuk-tuk service and bicycles are also available.

“Lovely Breakfast, although NOT at the price Booking.Com advertised. (I was charged €17.50), but no complaint. All of my breakfast requirements were met. Coffee was excellent, Juice fresh, fruit and meats abundant, and service attentive.”
