Hot spot gay burger lounge on the Warmoesstraat
Hugely popular and lively outlet for gay and straight-friendly eating and drinking, with a soft spot for quality American-style burgers, each of them linked in name to a known drag queen. Vegetarians have a place at the table here too, as do lovers of chicken, quesadillas, soups and dim sum. Wednesday = Burger Queens Night, when the buns and everything between them are discounted. Opened June 1996 as "the sort of place you could visit once or three times a week, wear full leathers, dress up, dress down or bring your mom". A clubby sandwich indeed.
