The restaurant Savage Garden was created by two locals and a German tour guide, whose first enterprise together was a German bakery called Cafe Edelweiss. Savage Garden is located in an old 18th century house which was lovingly restored using traditional techniques and local craftsmanship. The courtyard, painted in a dark Majorelle blue and decorated with a Moorish fountain and cusped arches, refleds the influence of Islamic culture found from Spain to India.
