The Paris Ile-de-France LGBT Center is an association law 1901 that has been fighting for more than 20 years for equal rights and against discrimination related to sexual orientation or gender identity.
It welcomes, informs and supports gay , lesbian , homely and trans people, young and old, and offers them a space of conviviality
(activities, debates, exhibitions, shows, library ...), health (prevention, documentation, screening), support (legal, social, employment, psychological ...) and well-being (gym, yoga, singing ...).
It is a space of visibility and a place of documentary resources on LGBT issues and supports its 80 member associations by promoting their initiatives. Each year, the Center receives more than 17,000 visitors, including 15,000 at its 63 rue Beaubourg premises in the 3rd arrondissement, where it has been installed since 2008. It also initiates many projects outside the walls in Ile-de-France.
A hundred volunteers called "Volunteers" and two employees animate the activities of the Center every day.
