Lady Olé, run by award-winning promoter Alejandro Asencio (Pelucas y Tacones), celebrates Spanish & British kitsch, dance, pop, and queer aesthetics with music and shows, with fun, attitude-free atmosphere. Mostly Spanish, Italian, British and French LGBTQ crowds.
The party welcomes everyone and is particularly popular with the Spanish gay community, as most followers have been attending the parties religiously since 2005.
Lady Olé, the new party from DJ/Promoter Alejandro Asencio, aims to continue the legacy that Pelucas y Tacones started by celebrating all things bizarro, kitsch, queer, and dance in the Spanish language. However, Lady Olé brings in flexibility to the music policy adding other languages into the mix, especially English. Maintaining a strong emphasis on bringing the Spanish community together, celebrating its values, and showcasing Spanish queer sensibilities to people from all backgrounds and nationalities, Lady Olé embraces the Anglo-Saxon equivalent by bridging both Spanish and English cultures. Partying is better done together :)
